As for the game itself, Super Bowl VII, my research tells me that the overall game lacked the excitement and entertainment of a true classic. The final box score of Dolphins 14 - Redskins 7, can be a bit misleading as the Dolphins led 14-0 heading into the 4th quarter. That lone Redskins touchdown was merely window dressing, a footnote on the final page of the final chapter of the only Perfect Season the NFL has ever seen. I give SBVII an 8.6 on historical significance and the fact that it (still) remains as the icing on the proverbial perfect cake.
